MKE Winter Training is for players in 9th-12th grade who have prior playing experience and are ready to sharpen their skills and take the next step in their development. The focus is on fostering confidence on the ball, building strong fundamentals, and preparing players for continued growth and higher-level play, as we prepare to attend Sunshine Showcase at the end of January. 

Each session emphasizes high-quality skill development through repetition, ensuring athletes get a large number of meaningful touches. 10 indoor sessions will be offered this winter at Uihlein Soccer Park. Training will target both basic and advanced techniques, including footwork, body positioning, passing and receiving, individual defense, attacking skills, shooting, and overall game awareness. Every session will conclude with a scrimmage or scrimmage-like game (adjusted based on numbers), giving athletes the opportunity to apply their skills in a game setting. 

This program provides a competitive, supportive environment that encourages players to push themselves, build consistency, and develop a strong foundation for long-term success in the game of field hockey.
